Stress-Free Living Blog - 11/12/07

"You expose more of yourself from the questions you ask, rather than the answers you give."

When we ask someone a question, it would seem logical that the answer to that question is the most revealing piece of information to come from that conversation, but really, your question reveals more.

While an answer might provide specific details, questions never lie and show a person’s intentions and what he or she is really thinking about.

To live stress-free, listen to the questions others ask. Their questions will reveal any personal agendas so that you can be sure that they are not just looking for personal success, but to add value to society.

"Mediocrity comes from a scarcity mentality; whereas, excellence is the outcome of an abundance mentality."

Typically, the more resources you have, the better you are able to produce. This is because a mindset of abundance opens your mind to the limitless possibilities.

However, when you see limits to the resources available, your mind has the opposite effect, and closes off many of the best solutions, which results into a mediocre outcome.

To produce excellence, you need to see an abundance of opportunities and then implement the one that adds the highest value. In producing excellence, you will be gifted with stress-free living.

"When you take ownership of the world’s common resources as your possessions, in reality, they begin to own you instead."

The world is filled with an abundance of resources. These resources are available to all of us so that we can utilize them to add value.

But when we selfishly decide to take possession of them, these same resources that were once tools, become crutches that we struggle to keep and carry with us.

The truth is that the true value of possessions only becomes available to us when we release ownership. This letting go, along with utilizing possessions as tools to add value, will provide an abundance of resources for stress-free living.
