Stress-Free Living Blog - 11/5/07

November 9, 2007
"Living in the present gives you a fresh start as you let go of the stale baggage of old failures and uncertainties."

It’s easy to hold onto the past by saying that we are learning from it. But learning from the past requires objectively remembering only the scenario, not the negative emotions that went along with it.

The moment we let our emotions into the scenario, we become filled with stale baggage and uncertainties.

The secret is to be able to take a fresh start to every moment. Only then do you have all of your faculties available to you for successes and stress-free living.

"When you love someone unconditionally, you gain much more than the person to whom you show your love."

Most of the time, we show love in order to get love back in return, but this is not love.

In order for it to be love, it has to be unconditional… like a mother’s love for her child… selfless giving and serving regardless of that person’s actions or inactions.

Once we can love unconditionally, we operate in alignment with the true purpose in life and are gifted with internal joy and contentment for stress-free living.

"Your stress is merely an indicator that you are caught in a thought process that is not endorsed by your stress-free self."

Stress is actually a gift; it is given to you as a warning sign that you need to make an adjustment in your thought process or so that you can be fully alert during a challenging situation.

Stress adds value in that it subtly urges you in the right direction. The problem is that we don’t always listen to these subtle urges to perform actions that are endorsed by our true selves, which causes chronic and increased stress.

To live stress-free, operate in harmony with your true self… unconditionally giving of your gifts and talents.
