Stress-Free Living Blog - 5/14/07

"When your kindness stems from pity, it feeds your ego; when your kindness is inspired by pure respect, it nurtures your growth."

When you are kind to someone out of pity, it makes you feel superior and thus indirectly feeds your ego. Many people can sense this pseudo-kindness, which is why they commonly push people away after a tragedy happens to them.

The truth is that everyone that you come across is in fact an integral part of you. And as one, we need to unconditionally respect each other and our differences.

With pure respect, kindness comes naturally, and as a result, your relationships will not only grow, but flourish for a joy-filled and stress-free life.

"How strange it is that we keep building homes for God, but never recognize where he truly resides… our own soul."

Churches, temples, mosques, and synagogues are merely buildings. And the purpose of these buildings is for us to gather and understand that God never has and does not exist in these buildings! God’s true home is in every living being… regardless of race, color, or gender.

Our differences and disagreements stem from our basic inability to see God in each other because of our fear, insecurity, hate, greed, and ego.

It is only through unconditionally serving the divine in others that you can fulfill your true mission in life and live stress-free.

"Your success should never be measured against others, but by your capability to improve your best."

A lot of stress and frustration comes from being unaware that nature has made each of us as an original masterpiece. Therefore, comparing your successes to those of others is like comparing apples to oranges. That’s why it is so stressful to try and copy others!

You are placed here with special intelligence and the capabilities to add unique value to this society, which can result into your own brand of successes.

To live stress-free, simply measure your successes based only on the value you add to others at each and every opportunity.
