Stress-Free Living Blog - 4/30/07

"Your unconditional gratefulness is the most effective tool to bring about self-cleansing that eliminates stress."

We have all been blessed with countless gifts in life. The problem is that we get so caught up in what we want, that we take for granted what we have, and instead become stressed about what we don’t have.

When you find something for which to be grateful, it completely changes your perspective to one of opportunity, potential, and optimism.

If you develop a keen eye, you can always find something for which to be grateful in every situation. This pure thinking cleanses the poisons from your mind and eliminates stress.

"Boredom is an indicator of your disconnection between your true purpose of life and perceived goals and objectives."

Your body is programmed to respond to your five senses, which protect your from danger and keep you nourished. But your senses and body are only tools. The moment you base your purpose and objectives on them and what you feel you want, you will find yourself to be bored, discontent, and always wanting more.

This is because none of these desires fulfill your true purpose of life, which is simply to add value, without conditions.

The only way to prevent boredom and be stress-free and fulfilled is to operate with your true purpose.

"Anger is pent up energy; it will destroy you if it’s used for revenge, but will enhance you if it’s used constructively to add value."

Anger is a very powerful emotion. If you let it take hold of you, your thoughts and actions become filled with vengeance and bitterness, which only makes you feel worse.

To live stress-free, you need to see anger as an opportunity to realign with your values and true self. Rather than becoming caught up in anger, your only role should be to recognize that you must add value to the situation, regardless of the circumstances. With this mindset, you will disarm any anger and find yourself to be completely stress-free.
