"Your joys and sorrows are often consequences of your own thinking and doings."
Your mind is incredibly equipped to help with any task that you demand of it. That’s why, what you think about most, you have a tendency to find and bring about. For example, if you are looking for difficulties or sorrows, you will find them. But similarly, if you are looking for joys and positive outcomes to your situation, you will find these too.
The secret is to be open-minded enough to look at every situation as though it is fresh and new, finding only the positive. When you make the decision to take on this positive outlook, you will find stress-free and lasting joy.

"What you see, hear, touch or feel is only an illusion; the reality is hidden behind your own self."
Your senses are only tools to help you experience life and are always influenced by your past knowledgebase and experiences or what’s around you. This is why to get the full taste of fine foods or to hear the minute details in a musical piece, you automatically find yourself closing your eyes. Letting go of your sense of sight helps you bring focus.
Similarly, you can only find the true reality, which is hidden behind your own self, when you let go of your five senses and your ego.

"The only way to feel special is to treat others as they are special."
The golden rule says to treat others as you would like to be treated. And it’s called the golden rule because it has roots in a wide range of cultures and has lasted over many centuries.
But very few people share the message of what happens when you live by the golden rule. When you treat others as you would like to be treated, you make others feel special, and ironically, because you are selflessly making a difference, you yourself feel special. To release some of your stresses, take the time to make someone else feel special, and as a result you’ll feel the same.
