Stress-Free Living Blog - 9/25/06

"Our realities are either skewed or erroneous because all of our incoming information gets contaminated by our insecurities, greed, fear, ego, and self-centered agendas."

If you were given special eyeglasses when driving your car that magically made you see the color green as red and the color red as green, you would have an accident at every traffic light because your information was inaccurate.

Similarly, in real life, insecurities, greed, fear, ego, or self-centered agendas taint your viewpoint and cause you to make the wrong stress-filled decisions.

To make the right stress-free decisions, simply let go of your self-created barriers and focus on adding value in every situation.

"The more you undertake serving others without conditions, the more you will be relieved of agony and suffering."

Agony and suffering stems from not realizing the fundamental truth that we are each an integral part of this universe, designed to work together.

That’s why when you see yourself as independent and alone, you suddenly feel stressed and become miserable.

Conversely, when you see yourself as part of a bigger one, where everyone is your brother or sister, it naturally makes you want to add value to others unconditionally through loving, serving, and giving, which is inline with your true self, leaving you stress-free and fulfilled.

"An actor can play any character, but your true character can never be an act."

Even when a talented actor plays the role of a character so well that when we watch the performance, we actually begin to see that actor as the character, the actor still never becomes the person they are portraying.

Similarly, you can “perform” any borrowed or learned role, but those performed characteristics can never become your true character, even if you are a very good actor.

Your true character, which i s perfect and divine, requires no acting. To unveil it and live stress-free, simply let go of your insecurities, ego, fear, greed, prejudices and self-centered agendas.
