Stress-Free Living Blog - 7/24/06

"True freedom comes from detachment; whereas attachments enslave us."

All your life, your focus remains on owning things… real estate, vehicles, stocks, your business, your spouse, and so on. But the fact really is that everything belongs to the universe. When you leave this world, you cannot take anything with you.

Your true self that resides in your body knows this, which is why you become stressed and uncomfortable when you become attached and enslaved to what is never yours to begin with.

To be truly free and to live a stress-free life, you must become detached from material possessions and operate from a mindset of utter gratefulness for the gift of life.

"It is only through sacrificing the false identities of I, Me, My, and Mine that you will be able to tap into the unlimited resources of the Universal Wisdom to achieve greatness."

You are an integral and inseparable part of the bigger body… our universe. The moment you think in the paradigm of I, Me, My, and Mine, unknowingly, you segregate yourself from this oneness, its strength, and thus become vulnerable to insecurity and fear that puts you under tremendous stress.

Once you let go of these false identities, you become one with the universe so that all of its vast resources become available to you for a value-adding and stress-free life.

"True character is a reflection of your inner core and is only available to you when you find your inner self."

Your surroundings, upbringing, and the company you keep have molded you to act and think in a certain way. Furthermore, you have become known by the countless labels placed upon you based on your profession, gender, age, race, and so on.

These labels and the way you have been molded have become your adopted character, even though they are not the real you, which is why they cause stress.

Your true character is hidden right within you. The moment you unveil it, your stress-free life becomes available to you.
