Ratanjit sends message meant to change lives
By: Ratanjit S. Sondhe

Ratanjit Sondhe has a way of deducing simplicity from complexity.

“Success is only an assignment for you to do more for your society,” Mr. Sondhe said. And that’s why he sees his role as much with Poly-Carb Inc. of Solon, a construction chemicals company he founded in 1973, as with society as a whole.

Mr. Sondhe eschewed offers from large publishing houses and recently launched a publishing company, discoverhelp publishing of Solon. It will market this summer Mr. Sondhe’s first novel “Tea: The Recipe for Stress-Free Living.”

He credits his mother’s influence with instilling in him a respect for spirituality among faiths and a drive to teach others how to bring meaning to their lives.

“The whole purpose of your life is to become a value-added entity, “ he said, mo matter your skin color, age, wage or religion.

For 10 years, he has done a radio show called “Visions” on WELW-AM 1330 on Saturdays. He also tapes a TV show in his office for broadcast in India.

He says his message fits the self-help category but lacks preachy overtones. “My whole

purpose is to convey the message. And the message is not my message. It came to me. It is very powerful. It can make such a difference to people’s lives.”
